Boy seems like talent a wasting, but I'll keep an open mind. Ugh... This came in via the Assassin of Youth...
Scoop on new film called ANALYZE THIS, Robert de Niro and Billy Crystal with Harold Ramis directing. The film is about psychiatrist Sam Sokol (Billy Crystal) who has always lived in the shadow of his celebrity dad. When a mob czar (DeNiro) picks him as a shrink he gets thrown into the mover and shaker life he though he always wanted. Warner Bros. is producing, with Jane Rosenthal.
They did a sit down reading on Sunday for Harold Ramis at Tribeca Film Center and it will probably NOT get another re-write--- especially who they would go to after Phoef Sutton, Kenneth Lonnergan (hit play This IS Our Youth); Peter Tolan, Billy Crystal, George Gallo and Harold Ramis is unclear.
