You may remember the last update about STAR TREK 9 plotwise, well I got confirmation on it's accuracy. And a further elaboration. Here is what Sir Robin had to say....
Just to let you know that the reported story IS IN FACT ACCURATE and the movie is now WELL into pre-production (sets HAVE begun/finished construction) ----that large cylindrical object stated is part of main engineering of the Enterprise....
HOWEVER....
Now for the bad news.... the reported storyline is rather weak (a run-of- the-mill TNG episode). The Paramount brass ain't too happy with the story. However it DOES have the backing of Pat Stewart (Assoc. Producer) and Jon Frakes(Dir). From what MY little angel says it that Pat and Jon have a good feeling that they can turn this into something WELL worth your $7-9.
