Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. When I was at Cannes last year I spoke with some friends who were patrolling the Market screenings (I spent most of my time at the film fest screenings) and one of the titles that jumped out to me was a low budget undead killer clown flick called Stitches. In my conversations with people who saw it, everybody seemed to be surprised at how fun it was.
So, I put a little mental stick-it note somewhere in the grey-matter and now material is starting to come out about the movie. Today they released the trailer and while it does look really low budget (ie some flat cinematography) I can see this one playing well, especially if it's as fun as my Cannes market attending friends say it is.
Plus, how can you go wrong with an undead revenge seeking clown in a horror comedy?
Dark Sky is putting the film out sometimet his year. Thoughts?
