The trailer for Bụi Đời Chợ Lớn reveals a Vietnamese movie that has Gangland Street Machete Fighting! Ouch!

Hey folks, Harry here...   Our scooper of Vietnamese cinema this year has been our pal MASON, you may remember that Quint posted a trailer for a movie called ONCE UPON A TIME IN VIETNAM - and most of us really really liked it.  Well, this time he's back with a film titled: Bụi Đời Chợ Lớn! Here's a look:

And here's Mason's write up on the film:

Bụi Đời Chợ Lớn stars and is action co-ordinated by Johnny Nguyen. You may not know the name but you will have seen his work. He fought Jet Li in Cradle 2 The Grave and Tony Ja in The Protector (Tom Yum Goong). A long time stunt man in Hollywood, Johnny was the Green Goblin in Raimi's Spiderman, and Spidey himself in the sequel.

He starred in and action co-ordinated the Vietnamese hit 'The Rebel' in 2007 which completely revitalised the local industry. That film was directed by his brother Charlie and so is Chinatown.

Plot details are scarce at the moment, but it revolves around a gang war in Saigon's Chinatown during a 24hour period. It's scheduled for release in Vietnam April 19th. International distribution is yet to be confirmed.
