Now folks, I don't know if this is true or not. None of my people could confirm or deny, and since this came from a first time spy... well it could mean it taint true, but then again he sounds fairly genuine. It concerns John Carpenter's VAMPIRES. I thought this film was wrapped a while back, but from the sound of this report, it looks like they still have some major scenes left to shoot. Or perhaps it's reshoots. The point is.. I don't know. If you live in the Santa Fe area, go on a quick Cathedral tour... If you see film crews, see what you can find out. I mean this is a John Carpenter movie man... we should know what's going on... this is about as cool as it gets... And you Santa Fe geeks... I envy the town you live in... you are living in a John Carpenter set... It's gotta rock... Here's the scoop (?) from Bone Thug...
Well I'm a first time scooper, you can call me Bone Thug, and I am from Santa Fe, NM. And well I was recently walking around the plaza, when I saw a film crew and tape blocking off about three blocks. I went to go check it out and it turns out that they were filming a John Carpenter film called something like VAMPIRES and it seemed like it is gonna be a cool as Hell movie, but I didn't see much just about maybe 45 minutes of filming where it seems like they hadn't gotten nothing done, but it was also a cool little set that they had set up in the middle of the plaza. It seemed like it consisted of the cathedral that is in Santa Fe, and was being used as the main set, and they had lots of barrels of blood around so it seems like it's gonna be a bloody as hell movie, but I'll keep you posted on what's going on. They said that they were gonna be filming here in Santa Fe for the next three weeks, so I'll keep you posted. --- BONE THUG
