Greetings, all. Ambush Bug here with another AICN HORROR: ZOMBIES & SHARKS column. I’ve got a cool short film to premiere today. I reviewed the zombie comedy DEADHEADS here and interviewed the directors The Pierce Brothers here. It was a very cool flick with a nice balance between gross-out horror and clever comedy, but doesn’t forget to add a bit of heart along the way. DEADHEADS is currently available on Netflix Streaming, iTunes, and DVD via Amazon.com. Now the makers of DEADHEADS have gotten the band back together in SMUSH: A DEADHEADS SHORT, a short film that premiered at Film4FrightFest 2012 and then played ScreamFest 2012 as well as other genre fests overseas. It’s being released on YouTube and we were lucky enough to premiere it on AICN today!
