Having scored a major hit with costume drama “Once Upon A Time,” ABC has just hired “Battlestar Galactica” mastermind Ronald D. Moore to write a pilot for a series version of the 2001 feature “A Knight’s Tale.”
The movie, which made a star of Heath Ledger, followed a peasant who found himself impersonating a knight.
The plan, apparently, is to utilize a soundtrack full of rock & roll hits, just as the movie did.
Moore’s pre-Galactica credits include “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” “Roswell” and “Carnivale.”
