What the hell is this? Hey there all you Tennessee readers! Give us the naked skinny on all this plucking and twanging that'll be going on down dere in dem parts! Knowing the script for the film, Music plays a big part in the actual film itself. This is one of those films that I'm just dying to see. If you are in Nashville, and can attend, I'd love to hear how it went... if it went at all...
On May 24th Nashville's Ryman Auditorium will host a concert of music from the upcoming film "O Brother, WHere Art Thou?". The show is hosted by the Coen Brothers (the guys behind Fargo, Big Lebowski, Raising Arizonia) and T-Bone Burnett (who did the score and soundtrack for the film). scheduled to appear are Emmylou Harris, ALison, Krauss, COlin Linden, Gillian Welch, The Cox Family, the Fairfield Four, Pat Enright, John Harford, Chris Thomas King, Tim Blake Nelson, Alan O'Bryant, The Peasall Sisters, Ralph Stanley, and more.
I got this off a DAT group I read,
