By Stanley Kubrick To Be
Produced For Television!!

I am – Hercules!!

A pair of movie scripts that Stanley Kubrick wrote but never got around to directing, are being produced for television:

* “Downslope,” which will become a TV-movie, is based on the true story of Confederate Army Colonel John S. Mosby, who sought revenge against U.S. army officer George Armstrong Custer after Custer captured and hanged several of Mosby’s men.

* “God Fearing Man,” which will become a miniseries, tells the true story of minister Herbert Emerson Wilson, who became one of the most successful bank robbers of the 20th century. The mini will be written by screenwriter Stephen R. Clarke based on the screenplay by Kubrick.

The projects are being produced by Entertainment One, the company behind a trio of current summer series: AMC’s “Hell on Wheels,” ABC’s “Rookie Blue” and NBC’s “Saving Hope.”
