I love this sequence.
When looking at THE AVENGERS as a whole, I can see why this material was excised from the film...it doesn't quite see to gel with the narrative going on around it. But this doesn't change the power and breadth of what's happening within this very small block of time.
When THE WINTER SOLDIER Captain America movie sequel rolls around, I certainly don't want to watch two hours of Steve Rogers moping about - but I do sincerely hope some of the heart and soul suggested by this Whedon-helmed sequence makes it into that next picture.
This comes to us via Latino Review...I'm assuming this is one of the deleted scenes that'll be featured on the movie's ever encroaching home video release.
