Hey folks, Harry here. Now... personally I just adore NIGHTBREED. I remember when I saw it, all those years ago, it was the LOUDEST screening of my life. It was at the Highland 10 here in Austin, and someone turned the sound up soooo high, that there were moments that literally scared the shit out of me. This film is also responsible for my Cronenphobia.... fear of David Cronenberg's face... There's something sooooo freaking cold and evil in his eyes in this movie. But I love the mythology of the film... a horror fairy tale. I would love to see the continuing story for this... I wish Artisan the best upon it, and man... I'd love to see Clive's screenplay... I bet that's something cool.
hi harry!
sorry for my bad english!
I dont know if i´m first but clive barker is in germany right now and he
was on the horror / fantasy convention 2000 in berlin! He said after being asked about a cabal special edition on DVD that he has plans to do a "prequel" to this Cabal aka nightbreed movie! he did write a script back in 1997 which was rejected by the studios because of the little succes the first movie had! Furthermore he said a company called artisan bought the rights and plans to adabt his script in the near future with him beeing an executive producer!
bye bye
