Total Film has a quick and fun discussion with Avi Lerner, producer of the two EXPENDABLES films, about badasses we might expect to see in a third installment.
Seems not only wold a majority of the current cast return - they've already gone out to other big and incredible names to add to the roster for next time around.
We’ve approached Clint Eastwood to be one of the guys, we’ve got a character in mind for him. We’re talking to Harrison Ford. [And we want] Wesley Snipes when he comes back from prison. I’ll give you one more name, we’ve got Nicolas Cage to play [one of the characters]
Now, it's very important to note here that The Powers That Be approaching these people does NOT mean all of, or any of, this talent will actually agree to appear in the picture. None the less, this does give us a nice sense of what lines they're thinking along...and conjure tremendous imaginings of what might be.
