Well while Miramax continues to have a gag on Peter Jackson, which I'm sure is driving him insane, my people continue to send in reports on this here Lord of the Rings/Hobbit rumor. It's even been popping up in the 'mainstream press' here and there... But here is one more brick into the fire sent in by our spy "I", see if it warms ya....
I'm a big fan of your pages and thought you might be interested to know, if you don't already, that the illustrator Alan Lee is currently down in New Zealand doing pre production drawings for a certain Tolkien film. Apparently Peter Jackson wants to do as true a version of the books as possible over two movies which will be filmed back to back, There are other illustrators working on this film but Alan is the only one I could remember after my source told me.
