El Cosmico here...looks like NBC's bid to broadcast the XFL might interfere with production (cancel it) of a favorite of many, The Pretender.
There are a couple of "Save The Pretender" websites up, which should be providing continuing coverage of this saga, one is at: http://op-stp.homepage.com/, and the other one I know of is at: http://www.mydailyplanet.com/frntpg.htm.
Of futher interest to Pretender fans, the TNT network will begin airing all 86 episodes on a daily this coming September. Also, starting again this weekend, April 22, new episodes will be airing. There you are, get on up.
