We've known for a while that Ben Whishaw (PERFUME, the upcoming Wachowski/Tykwer epic CLOUD ATLAS) would play Q in Sam Mendes' forthcoming James Bond film SKYFALL, but here's our first image of him in the film via EW.
Whishaw follows in the footsteps of the great Desmond Llewelyn and John Cleese - each of whom previously brought amusing and unique interpretations of this character to the franchise. Whishaw's appearance as Q, however, marks the first time this character has appeared in a Daniel Craig-era Bond picture.
