An AICN reader named David called our attention to this picture of a vehicle from MAD MAX: FURY ROAD. I don't recall having come across it on the Internet yet (apologies if I missed it), so I thought I'd share it.

That's awesome, but a truck with that much bass also needs to be able to do this:
The FURY ROAD pic above was nabbed by someone claiming to have seen even "cooler" cars - but said individual was run off by police/angry crew folk before he/she could snap photos of them. We've seen many such snapshots over the past few months...who knew there were so many Geeks with cameras trolling about the wastelands of Namibia?
A few months back there were reports of a number of V-8 interceptors - the kind of vehicle Max used in MAD MAX and THE ROAD WARRIOR back in the day - being sighted on set, but we've seen no shots of them so far. Said report indicated it looked like multiple redundancies of the same car as opposed to a full fleet of them, or whatever, leading those who saw them to believe Max finds himself a new police interceptor at some point in this film. Given that no images of thee have escaped (to the best of my knowledge, at least), we'll take all of this with a grain of salt until visual evidence comes our way.
IN the meantime, you can see the Interceptor in this news announcement of the project...from a time before Tom Hardy was cast as Rockatansky, and the picture was still shooting in Australia.
