La-La Land Records has been releasing some amazing soundtracks over the years and lately they have been commemorating the occasion with a theatrical screening of the score's film. In the past they have had presentations of 1941 (1979), FRIDAY THE 13TH (1980), and STAR TREK: THE MOTION PICTURE (1979). This time they're hosting a screening of USED CARS (1980) to help celebrate the release of Patrick Williams score on CD.
The screening will take place on July 31st, 2012, at 7:30PM at the Arclight Cinemas (6360 W. Sunset Blvd.) in Hollywood, California.

The world premiere release of the USED CARS soundtrack features Patrick Williams’ original score, along with the title song “USED CARS” (music by Patrick Williams, performed by Bobby Bare). The CD also features the unused score composed by ERNEST GOLD (IT’S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD).
