Here's a new tailer for RISE OF THE GUARDIANS, cribbed from the beautiful and touching GUARDIANS OF CHILDHOOD books by William Joyce (his recent THE MAN IN THE MOON is one of my five year old's favorite books).
Hopefully this film will reflect some of the heart which invariably characterizes Joyce's work. Thus far, the trailers are selling action and rambunctiousness, for which there's certainly room in the progenitor concept...but aren't the core essence on which Joyce's material pivots.
