Oh... No.... Alright, now I don't know how many of you out there are dye in the wool GREASE fans like me, but I am a BIG fan of the film. I can talk for hours about the minute details of coolness that the film has. I still hold that it's my favorite Travolta film, and that Olivia Newton John's transformation from virginal next door sweetie, to black spandex fuck-slut is one of the greatest moments for male-kind ever on screen. HOWEVER, saying that... GREASE 2 blew a golf ball through a garden hose, and the idea of yet another sequel... stinks it up just plenty. My only hope about all of this is that Britney Spears is talking out her sphincter and that's that. Let us pray...
I was just watching Much Music (Canada's version of MTV) and I just happened to be watching while they were airing a special devoted to Britney Spears. During an interview segment, she was asked about whether or not she would be doing any movies and she confirmed that she was considering doing "a nineties version of Dirty Dancing", which is old news, but she also mentioned the possibility of doing a Grease 3. Unfortunatly she didn't mention any other details other then the fact that she might do it. Much Music tends to repeat their specials ad nauseum so the show will probably air again really soon.
