Father Geek with a hot rumor flash from our Paris Offices of special interest to all you LEO fans around the globe, he IS (?) slated to do a Sci-Fi flick after all (?), but its just not SW #2 (?)... Well geeks you know how these sorts of rumors go, "on again, off again", everyone, agents, studio was denying the settling of the casting of Obi for months after it was set. I honestly don't know on this, but it does keep his name in print...

We got two messages today at the Euro AICN office concerning a sci-fi movie with Mister Leonardo... it would be produced by Miramax and shot this Summer (personally I never heard of that one but why not ?) anyway here are the two reports :
First from the Queen in the Netherlands...
The Volkskrant, one of the Netherlands's major newspapers, had the following little bit on the front page (roughly translated):
"The palace of Rumanian in Bucharest of dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, who was executed in December 1998, is going to be used for a science-fiction movie. Leonardo DiCaprio has the leading part in this movie, which will be set in 2070. The news was released on Monday by the Rumanian co-producer of the film. The palace is the biggest building in the world after the one from the US ministry of defence."
Then from Deep Red in London:
Just turned up a story on a new film about to begin shooting for Miramax, LIBRIUM. It seems Kurt Wimmer is directing this sci-fi "epic" set in 2070, but starring in it is one Leonardo DiCaprio - this would be the film taking him out of the running for Episode II, one presumes?
