Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Pic!
Revenge of the Pink Panther might not be the best of the series, but there’s something instantly likable about every one of the Blake Edwards/Peter Sellers Pink Panther films… alright, Trail of the Pink Panther is a bit tough to get through, but my point still stands.
I liked Herbert Lom before this series, but his portrayal of the hateful Chief Inspector Dreyfus has turned him into one of my all time favorite character actors. By the time the series gets to The Pink Panther Strikes Again he’s on such another comedic level that I’m just kind of in awe how they went so far with this character who began as a simple straight man and ended up being loonier than Sellers’ Clouseau.
Today’s image comes from one of the more explosive moments from Revenge of the Pink Panther.
