HOUDINI update with some IRON MAN thrown in for good charm

A source of mine yesterday told me that Sony has HOUDINI and that basically.... There is zero movement at all on the project. Noone has signed on to either direct or star. It's a stagnant property at the moment.

So... After that we dug around to see where IRON MAN was and my good ol FORBIDDEN PLANET source said that it's currently over at New Line. It's in the scripting stage with Rossio and Elliot (fresh off of THE ROAD TO EL DORADO) doing their duty. Those guys do pretty darn good work usually. As far as I know, NEW LINE doesn't have a Tony Stark yet... or a director... what do you people think? Personally, I see Timothy Dalton in the armor and the tux, but who would be a good Mandarin... if they go with that bad dude. Hmmmm....
