Hey folks, Harry here... This was sort of a magic episode. For one, Phil Tippett came in to join us in the basement, have a little fun and chat about MAD GOD and anything else we wanted. Hope he gets to come back, we really want to do an episode where we just talk Harryhausen. That'll be nice. Also this episode, I also had to geek out on PROMETHEUS, just because it's that good. I taped this the morning after having seen it, but before I wrote my review. I love just how enthusiastic I am about the film. Also, the film documentary SOMETHING'S GONNA LIVE - which is a tremendous documentary about 3 lifelong friends that basically became Paramount's Art Department for the greatest years of that company. I focus on Albert Nozaki's story mainly because I love his personal story and his view of it. It's kind of amazing really. But specifically Nozaki was the Art Director on WAR OF THE WORLDS - which gave me an excuse to play with my electromagnetic floating Martian War Machine, which just rules all! There's an interesting story about how that Kong Bomb or Kongrenade as Father Geek calls it.... About how it got from Forry to me... but that's a story for another episode. This episode - the team here really kicked ass all over the place. We really killed ourselves finishing it. I didn't get the final cut til 2:50am. Well, got to get some sleep before tomorrow's shoot.
