From Deadline’s exclusive:
The untitled comedy is described as an exploration of one day in a woman’s life and how the events leading up to it can affect, or not, the reality in which she lives.
Genius screenwriter Charlie Kaufman (“Being John Malkovich,” “Human Nature,” “Confessions of A Dangerous Mind,” “Adaptation,” “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “Synecdoche, New York”) would write and direct the proposed HBO series.
Catherine Keener, who appeared in Kaufman’s first big-screen screenwriting effort “Being John Malkovich” and Kaufman’s feature directorial debut “Synecdoche, New York,” would produce and star in the series.
Kaufman is not a stranger to television, having served as a writer on Chris Elliott’s acclaimed Fox sitcom “Get A Life.”
