Howard Stern does CBS’ “The Talk” with nemesis Les Moonves’ wife Julie Chen today, but the big talk show match-up comes tonight when Conan O’Brien appears on “The Late Show With David Letterman.” What could those two have to talk about?
The print version of TV Guide again lies to you, America. It promises a two-hour season finale for (the now-cancelled) “Awake,” but the second half of that finale actually airs next Thursday, after sweeps has concluded.
That issue tells us there will only be a single episode of “Community” tonight. More lies. We’re actually getting three episodes of (the now-renewed) “Community” tonight, at 8 p.m., 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Its momentum will be broken only by tonight’s season finale of “30 Rock” at 8:30 p.m.
(Not only has "Community" been renewed for next season, "Community" mastermind Dan Harmon is also behind "Rick & Morty," a just-greenlit Adult Swim cartoon series about a genius inventor and his more weak-minded grandson.)
“Awake” may be cancelled, but its season is heating up, with Jason Isaacs’ character now menaced by a cop with Marshall Flinkman’s face:
Aside from “Awake,” the Thursday shows not asked back for next season include “Rob,” “Missing,” and “Secret Circle.”
