Yeah, geeks across the South-Central United States be on alert. The Austin Sci-Fi Expo is going to pack in some great guests for your enjoyment. Father Geek foundout today that this event is a go for the 1st weekend in May. I mean celebs like Dirk (Face/Starbuck) Benedict, Jeremy (Boba Fett) Bulloch, Herb (Boomer) Jefferson, Phil (Uncle Owen) Brown, and Peter (Chewbacca) Mayhew are confirmed to be there. And there's other guests pending.
In addition to the guests there will be panel discussions, autograph sessions, and a huge Toy, Poster, Comics, and Card show to boot. There are over 200 exhibit tables crammed full of ultra cool stuff related to Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Pokemon, Star Trek, G I Joe, Transformers, Hotwheels, and your favorite Superheroes that will fill the rooms with unbridled geekiness.
Harry, Father Geek, Quint and Tom Joad are sure to be roaming the halls in search of rare and interesting geek treasure, and I recommend everyone snag one of those low priced ($8) VIP admissions that allows total access to ALL events.
