TURNS OUT THIS WAS AN EARLY APRIL FOOLS JOKE FOLKS! WATCH OUT! IT'S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR!!! It was started HERE

Hey folks, Harry here. Man, if the following scoop is true, then PLANET OF THE APES has just gotten friggin weird as hell.... which is what we knew would happen as soon as Burton got involved, but it's in a really interesting way. Now the following would be EXTREME RUMOR, I'm working on getting confirmation about this from my bug in Mechanic's office, but it takes awhile to go through all that transcribing and analyzing. BUT... This rumor fascinates me. Especially after how brilliant the animal wrangling was in BABE 2: PIG IN THE CITY. It's so interesting, that I almost feel like.... Dr Zaius himself....

Hello, Harry! Long time fan, first time contributor. I found this post over at alt.movies.tim-burton, and I hope its accurate, as it sounds kickass...

"As you may or may not know, ... that website about tim burton is maintained in Sydney, Australia - home to the new FOX STUDIOS where they are planning on shooting the new Star Wars films. A mate of mine is working over there doing post production on Red Planet - which recently wrapped shooting. He said he was sitting in his office and who walked by ... none other than TIM BURTON! He was doing a tour of the facility with a couple of suits. Turns out Tim is checking out the down under studios for the new Fox Sci Fi epic "Planet of the Apes".

But that's not the big news!!!!

My mate asked the Receptionist what was going on, and she told him that apart from the fact that Tim is a very charming man she hopes the film isn't made here. It turns out that Tim is planning on using REAL APES to play the non human roles in the film and using computer effects similar to those in "Stuart Little" to get the little fellas to talk! Part of the condition of using the studio is that they construct a series of massive cages on the lot with sealed entry ways into the stages. Cool or WHAT!!!! It'll certainly make the kiss between Taylor and Dr Zira interesting!!!
