“Arrested Development’ mastermind Mitch Hurwitz had at least two interesting pieces of news at NAB’s Netflix event in Las Vegas.
1) Hurwitz has largely abandoned the idea of having each self-contained episode focus on a different character from the old series. "That is now kind of evolving into becoming more like the old show again," Hurwitz told the crowd.
2) All 10 new episodes will hit Netflix on the same day next year. Which means after a 7-year wait, fans will be able to consume the entire fourth season in one orgasmic 3.5-hour gulp.
