Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Pic!
Told you I was gonna back to back it with The Shining pics and I wasn’t lyin’! Today we have a look at the chilling fate of Mr. Jack Torrance courtesy of Lee Unkrich’s Overlook Hotel blog and The Prop Store, a place to windowshop like a madman.
Now, these images are spoilery, so if by some chance you stumbled upon this article and haven’t seen The Shining and don’t know what happens at the end of the movie, then read no further and don’t look at the images! If you already did, then your impatience fucked you over, sorry.
These two pics are great for seeing the actual filmmaking at work. Picture one shows us how Mr. Nicholson kept his head so still for the long shot revealing his fate and the second shows that it might be snowy in one part of Elstree Studios, but bright and sunny just over the hedge.
