A bit of the John Carpenter, Robert Rodriguez and Me panel from SXSW

Hey there folks, Harry here with a link to where you can see some of the panel that I did with Robert Rodriguez and John Carpenter. I plan on trying to get more of the panel online either as video or as audio or as text. It's a technical issue as well as getting the physical video itself.

This footage was digitized by the folks at SXSW, and focuses only upon some of the themes that we explored with Carpenter, and focuses exclusively on John Carpenter and a tad bit of my left shoulder from time to time. Robert was apparrently not captured on this particular group of streaming video.

I'll try to cover the whole panel as I receive the video and audio to review. I have to say that watching ol Robert geek out and do a fanboy question about "In the last scene of THE THING, was either of them... THE THING?" Just about caused me to cough up the lung. I'll answer that question with either video footage or reporting later on, the most important thing not captured on this video stream is that John Carpenter is looking at making a completely independent from studios, DV film that he doesn't have to submit to the MPAA... that he doesn't have to have rewritten to fit the financier's wishes... and that he can cast as he sees fit. But more on that project later. Here's the link to the SXSW Streaming Video of some highlights of the panel!
