After tasting some success with the JUSTIN BIEBER: NEVER SAY NEVER music doc last year, Paramount is heading back into the realm of concert movies with one centered around Katy Perry. The first trailer for KATY PERRY: PART OF ME has been released, and, if you're a fan of looking at or listening to the pop star, you might give this a shot. If her music isn't your thing, you're probably going to pass.
I've heard the Bieber flick was really well done from those who have seen it (and not necessarily Bieber fans either), but I'd definitely give this a view... and not just because Katy Perry might be shooting whipped cream from her boobs at me in 3-D. I'm the type of person that could sit for hours and watch VH1's BEHIND THE MUSIC for hours, fascinated by the rise and fall and rise again of different musical artists, whether I was fans of their work or not. They're just interesting stories to me. This falls a little along the same lines.
