The Kidd Announces The Winners Of The BATTLE ROYALE Blu-rays!!

The Kidd here...

This was a bit of a tough one, but, if I'm just going to hand over Blu-ray copies of BATTLE ROYALE: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION, you're going to have to earn them.

A handful of copies were up for grabs, but only a few stepped up to the challenge with their pro wrestling-style promos on why they'd win the Battle Royale if they were entered. As a result, only three can be deemed victorious for their efforts.

First up, let me at least give some recognition to Jake Kaufman, who was adamant in letting me know how hard he worked on this. Unfortunately, deadlines exist for a reason, and Jake didn't make the cut. But the least I can do is show off his work. There's no Blu-ray in it for him, so he'll have to settle for some type of published glory. Does anyone else feel like they're watching the intro to one of those Maury "Wild Teens" segments though?

Okay, now let's get onto the winners...

Cory Capron elected the go for the creepy, silent, scary type that we've seen in the past with the Undertaker, Kane and Raven. It may not be a showy display of charisma and excitement, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to run into this dude in an alley... or a Hallmark store... or just about anywhere I might enter into his path of vision.

Finally, there's a showdown in the Battle Royale, and it's between Earthquake and Middle School. Want  to see how it plays out? Thomas Riggs and Sam Wada have the tale of the tape for this unique confrontation, and, as a result, they're both walking away winners... or at least one of their families is. I'm sorry for their loss.

That's it. That's the list.

Congrats to those who took the time and effort to take their best shot at winning BATTLE ROYALE: THE COMPLETE COLLECTION on Blu-ray. You were rewarded for your hard work. Also, thanks to Anchor Bay Home Entertainment for setting this whole thing up.
