Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with today’s Behind the Scenes Pic!
It’s hard to believe that Tim Burton and Johnny Depp have been working together for 22 years now. This year we see the pair team up for Dark Shadows, which, God help me, looks like it could be a lot of fun. Their first pairing was Edward Scissorhands and what a hell of a movie that is.
Not only does it have Winona Ryder in her prime (my ungodly crush on her hasn’t tarnished since childhood, people), but it’s about as pure a Tim Burton fairy tale as you can get… from the Frankenstein-ish sympathetic monster story to the gothic castles, dark humor and pretty amazing shrubbery... The flick screams Burton and I remember the days, not so long ago, when that wasn’t a bad thing.
