Mighty Man reports on the many productions at Pinewood Studios

I haven't heard anything about "A LITTLE BEDTIME STORY" but it sounds pretty darn cool. Harry here, and I'm going to turn the text over to MIGHTY MAN... our eyes, ears, throat and cold medicinal cure for a lack of Pinewood knowledge...

'Mighty Man'

Snooping around Pinewood studio's in Iver, London, England and have come across a production that is in the works. I have been lucky enough to browse parts of the script called at the moment 'A little bedtime story'. Only have snips of what's it about as people started asking questions to who I was. Seeing from the size of this production I am surprised it has been kept so well under wraps, don't know who is starring in it but from rumours it seems it could be a mixture of American and British talent.

Here it goes:

It seems to be an anthology of three horror stories that are linked together through a coffee shop. the coffee shop is where all the stories stem from be it photo's memorabilia etc.

The first story completely put the creeps up me, makes the exorcist and the Blair witch project look like child's play. Supposedly it is loosely based on an event that did happen in England some years ago. The entire story is shot in one location from the inside of a car where we are watching a passenger who is being terrorised by some crazed man or is she? amazingly U never once see the guy's face, or if he is human? The story is great it really CREEPS U out, leaving U feeling claustrophobic and uncomfortable, the ending is like the sixth sense although they're are no ghosts, but it is incredibly shocking and unexpected and throws everything upside down on what U expected.

The third story is apparently based in the trenches of world war 1. where the dead rise from the fields and start attacking the remaining survivors of both camps in an isolated area i.e. the German's and the British. Quite a spectacular piece if they do it right....a bit like resident evil in the trenches. Unfortunately only got to quickly browse through this one. However I did get to see some of the creature effects being used, seems it's being done by the same people who did Event horizon's remarkable horror effects......and this shit looks cool TRUST ME!

The second story I'm not sure about as I didn't get time to flick through it! Done correctly and judging from what I have seen and read this could be potentially be one of the scariest films for the end of this year, can't wait to see it. Looks like horror is definitely on the cards again.

They're is an extreme amount of hush hush surrounding it but I have a feeling more reports will start to filter out.

I'll try my best to find out more.......

By the way 'Tomb Raider' start filming in July at Pinewood studios, the sets look great although still in construction. Also if U didn't know so is the 'Mummy 2'. Lesley Nelson has just completed filming his new comedy '2001 A Space Travesty', the animatronics are superb, lots of cool looking creatures.

Someone also tells me Matrix 2 is on the way here as well, but I don't which stages it is on yet ......will keep U posted.

Others films presently here I don't know much about are 'DINOTOPIA' some effect heavy film, and the 'BLACK NIGHT' from castle rock entertainment.
