Merrick again...
A reader named Andrew sent in this new international (UK) trailer for PROMETHEUS. Some of the material herein is the same as (or variations on) the fresh domestic trailer we got yesterday. Some of it, however, is quite different. Overall, the tone and approach of the trailer differs considerably from the U.S. version.
This damn movie is making me feel like Ned Beatty in DELIVERANCE right about now.

Earlier today I got a fist pump from Howard Stern at the America's Got Talent auditions in Austin (tremendous fun, by the way), and now comes this. How much coolness can a guy take in one day?
Longer than the trailer we got overnight, and more substantive to the now legendary first teaser. There's so much badassness here I don't even know where to start.
Here's a trailer for Ridley Scott's original 1979 film (ALIEN) for comparison. You'll see some conceits brilliantly carried over.
