Hey folks, well it looks like Spielberg has committed to back-to-back science fiction projects. Apparently in Summer 2001 we will be getting the long rumored Stanley Kubrick pet-project A.I. to be directed by Steven Spielberg. Also... based upon reported tons of shared material between Stanley and Steven, but word has had it that the screenplay has been authored by Spielberg himself... And this is something we haven't seen in a very very long time.
Variety has confirmed the long time rumors that this film is no longer in development or in the ether... but is moving forward and shooting soon. Exciting isn't it?
