“American Horror Story” is a strange franchise.
For its second season, it’s expected to be using five actors from season one – including Zachary Quinto and Jessica Lange – but they won’t be playing the characters they played in season one.
Three more returning actors are expected to be announced at the show’s Wednesday PaleyFest event tonight.
The series is expected to reboot for season two – with a new setting on the East Coast and a new set of characters.
Quinto, who evolved into a series regular on “Heroes,” recently appeared on the big screen in “Margin Call” and is hard at work on J.J. Abrams’ upcoming “Star Trek” sequel.
