The Big KahoonA filed this tasty bit this morning from his burger stand in merry old England, aaaaaaaaaaaaah, Father Geek loves his reports, the smells of fresh grilled onions and ground beef burst from his reports like scarabs flowing thru a crack in a sand covered tomb floor...
Well how didly do Harry and the ancient fatherly one, its been quite a while since I last posted to you. There has been a nasty beef war with those French types since I last wrote causing this burger to take up arms and have at it with the French. British Burger versus French mano-a-mano, almost like a scene from The Gladiator at one point except without the great Rome backdrops of course :)
Anyway after finally climbing out the trenches, and this Kahoona Burger being chased buy the 102 dalmation (ahhh the horror of the thought of that film), a decent bit of news has come between my baps so to speak. So after dumping a nice portion of mayo and lettuce on it I thought I would serve it up to your goodself with an extra helping of pan fritz.
The hot news around the British film studios at the moment is the beginning of the production/construction of the elaborate if some what dusty sets for the Mummy 2 at Shepperton Studios over here in Blighty. Men with tool belts are scurrying back and forth at an amazing rate. It is all in its early stages at the moment(shooting is still about 9, or 10 weeks away), but from what I can gather it is set in jolly olde London Town, which is contary to some yank reports which have said it will be set in old New York. There is of course the possibility that the film might be set in both and that Shepperton is just being used for the London shoot, although my source did mention that the great majority of the film would be shot here, along with some location shots to be made in Morocco.
I of course will be attempting to set-up a tasty burger stall outside of Shepperton to allow for access to new news and maybe a photo or two, and to of course sell some damn fine burgers :)
