Buzz Lightyear, the lantern-jawed hero of Disney's hit films Toy Story and Toy Story 2, is losing his sidekick, Woody, and taking on the small screen with an army of Space Rangers in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.
The toon is being produced by Disney and will appear on UPN's Disney's One Too and on ABC's Saturday morning lineup.
Patrick Warburton, Seinfeld's Puddy and star of the upcoming live-action pilot The Tick on Fox, will provide the voice for Buzz; his former Seinfeld buddy, Wayne Knight, will portray Buzz's enemy, Emperor Zurg.
