From Timur Bekmambetov, the director of WANTED, and producer Tim Burton, the big screen adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's book of the same name. We've recently seen a number of photos from this film, but this is the first actual footage (that I've come across, at least) to head our way.
The photography and design here is stunning - not at all surprising given the sensibilities Bekmambetov displayed in NIGHT WATCH, DAY WATCH, and WANTED, and that the incomparable Caleb Deschanel (THE RIGHT STUFF, THE PATRIOT, THE BLACK STALLION - he's high on my list of favorite cinematographers) shot the film. But is the world ready to see Honest Abe as a bad-ass, vampire killing action hero? I dunno...but the madness of this trailer does make me wanna see more...
