Hey folks, Harry here. I'm in California, been vacationing at the fabulous Moriarty Labs Spa & Resorts. Moriarty and I have banned 1 Talkbacker in the last 48 hours. This person was called The Warrior... and was not the real Warrior. Their name was Lisa White, and were cross posting (this is a banning offense) DMFC's 'Tolkein was a Racist' diatribe to multiple talk backs. Both Father Geek and I HAVE stated why we ban. Now, I'm not sure if the 'REAL' The Warrior has been banned, but I do know that Father Geek would not ban The Warrior for calling me a Bloated Sellout. The term actually causes a giggle in me. The other day when I posted part one of the 'Floating Film Festival' he called me the 'Floating Sellout' and I almost blew a kidney I laughed so hard. The Warrior does not bother me with his 'anti-Harry' stuff, because well... he doesn't.

What happened? I'm not sure, but I think it probably started with Dad banning DMFC for cross posting his/her/their rhetoric about the 'racist Tolkein'. Cross Posting is a cause for banning. Then... someone began reposting this stuff on The Warrior's account. I don't know if this was The Warrior or not. A long time ago, Lane Myers had someone steal his identity and began posting as him. He asked me to ban him because he just didn't want it to happen anymore. This is what could have happened. I haven't been able to get in touch with Father Geek, and I'm sure he'll post on this page, what happened.

Father Geek here I won't takeup your time repeating what was covered so well in Harry's and my previous posts on banning. Yes I banned some people in the last 24 hours for spamming, for being offensive assholes, and for using talkback as an open chatroom, posting dozen of times each in several subject areas off topic filling your & our space with stuff of no interest to anyone other than themselves. If I have to spend 20 hours a day getting rid of such nonsense then I will. Understand it! That is not why talkback exists. Harry and I agree on this totally. I would rather be writing the news believe me, but if you demand a policeman (like little schoolyard brats) then thats what I will be. We recently got all our computers networked so that we can all be online at the same time adding to the sites productivity and manhour time, unfortunately it looks like bullshit is what I'll be using the extra online time dealing with, so be it, my pay (quite good by the way) remains the same if I'm writing news or banning jerks. Sadly I can not point with pride to the later, But we will do whatever is necessary to manage talkback for the best use of the millions that use this site for productive reasons, not the few jerks who we could live well without. If you want an unpoliced chat room I suggest you go spend the time and money and form your own. This isn't it! By the way I have not banned the warrior.
