Slick takes a look at the DANGER GIRL script

Hey folks, Harry here with a brief impression on the DANGER GIRL script from Slick... Believe it or not, I've been a fan of DANGER GIRL since the comic came out... probably because the creator sent me tons of DANGER GIRL advance issues and such. Since then I've bought them... and share with my sis... who loves DANGER GIRL and is always bugging me to score her the whole DANGER GIRL toy collection. The wench. User Girl I call her. Anyway... Here's Slick's look...

Hi Harry and the gang,

First of all, Harry, are you sick or something? I see you have a runny nose now! Or is that something else???

Only after crawling through snake infested pits, twisting through laser beam triggered explosives, and outrunning avanlanches on my snowmobile, did I retrieve the Danger Girl Screenplay! Being a "long time" fan of the not-so-long running comic book series (What's it been out? Two years tops?) I finally got a hold of the script. And it's NOT the bogus script that's been selling on E-bay lately, either! So what did I think of it?

In short, this movie MUST be made!

Remember when we used to see "swashbucklers" at the movies? Remember when we used to see kooky Evil Henchmen - Nicnac? Jaws? OddJob ring a bell? Remember when we'd see "high adventure?" Remember when we used to see a movie only to exit the theater saying "WOW! That was FUN! I want to go on that ride AGAIN!" Well this is better than those movies! I bullshit you not!

From the opening scene, when we first meet female adventurer Abbey Chase, we know this is gonna be special. I really want to spill my guts on all that happens, but I won't. I'll tell you how we first meet her though. She's scaling a mountain trying to retrieve something. But before we can see her, we have to pass through those few clouds that obscure her. Yeah, she's WAY up there! Then, before you can really appreciate her -ahem- form, something happens. This is when this movie starts to move, and it just keeps going faster and faster until it just BLOWS UP at the end!

I knew I had to get my copy of this script when I heard that the folks at New Line were afraid to make this female action movie, scratch that, adventure movie. I read at Corona that they want to see how Charlies Angels does first. I can already tell you though, Charlies Angels is going to blow. It'll be a shame if their failure keeps Danger Girl locked away...

Harry, do yourself a favor and get a copy of this script!!!
