Hey folks, Harry here with the latest casting on the EVIL DEAD remake that Fede Alvarez is directing and that Sam Raimi is producing. I'm six kinds of nervous and worried about this remake. I mean, I can imagine a great remake being made... but I have to say, subbing a really hot redhead for Bruce Campbell's ASH... I'm utterly confused at the dynamic shift that comes to the story. Are they gonna torture the living hell out of Jane? Will her hand become possessed? Will she wield a chainsaw? Get an eyeball in the mouth? Will she have to kill her boyfriend? How will this actually play out?
I have to say, I really would love to see a version of EVIL DEAD with Lucille Ball killing Desi, Ethel & Fred whilst on a trip to the family cabin... But that just underlines what I've always felt was deep inside of Lucy's soul.
Jane Levy will be playing MIA which is the ASH character of this film. They've also released that she'll be one of 5 in that cabin, that nobody should ever go to. This cabin in the woods movie will be being released, nearly a year after Whedon and crews' CABIN IN THE WOODS this year. Really hope they make this kick ass.
