Further views on CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS MIND (aka latest brilliant Charlie Kaufman project)

Hey folks, Harry here with the views of a cud chewing sated faced airline passenger con oxygen mask giving us a look at his view of Charlie Kaufman's CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS MIND screenplay. Of course our very own dear Moriarty took a look at this script way back in August of last year. (Click here to read his demented thoughts!!!) So read what this content contemporary thinks of this allegedly brilliantly witty script...

CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS MIND, the latest from BEING JOHN MALKOVICH scribe Charlie Kaufman (third draft, revised) came to me in a CAA folder so I read it first. Now, if you don't know anything about this script, it's based upon the autobiography of Chuck (Gong Show) Baris and detalis, among his experiences developing such tv gems such as The Gong Show, The Dating Game and The Newlywed Game (along with stinkers such as The Dollar Ninety Eight Beauty Pageant and The Game Game) and briefly touches on the fact that he wrote the hit song "Pallisades Park". But the real shocker here is that it talks in detail about how his alleged experience of being recruited by the CIA to be an assassin and his wet ops in foreign lands at the same time he was producing these hit shows.... Sounds goofy, well it's pretty amazing and really touching as well, especially the parts about the girl he really loved, was afraid to commit to and who waited years to marry him. Harry, I'm not kidding when I ! say that this was one of my favorite reads this year. David Fincher is attatched to direct

A Completely Docile Minded Fool.
