Hey folks, Harry here. Below is an insider rap about some sort of strange fraternity massacre flick that allegedly might be directed by Tom Savini. Now... While I don't know about that 100%, I do know that we can find out the truth about the world of Tom Savini here in Austin on March 25th, when Sex Machine himself... will be coming to the Alamo Drafthouse for a triple bill of Savini filmic horror... plus all sorts of Savini trailers and rare outtakes etc. I can't wait to go because I've heard that Savini is going to blow up 3 people on stage... and there are rumors that audience members might have to wear raincoats!!! For more information on how to get tickets or your odds of being blown up, go to Drafthouse.Com or more precisely... this link!!!
Hello from Sunny Florida,
I'm a huge fan of the horror genre, and was thrilled to get word that an upcoming horror film is in the works in my home town of Tampa, and that TOM SAVINI is considering the project! Anyway, details are short right now. We all know Savini, Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, From Dusk Till Dawn, etc. The production company is new, Thunder Bay Productions with Bill Ciaccia producing. I've also heard that one of the Blair Witch guys might produce. The untitled project is written by Tony Urban whose only produced credit is "Poor White Trash". He's also writing an adaptation of the WW II/POW action-drama "Guests of the Emperor" by James Darden.
Plot-wise, all I've been able to track down is that it's about a crazy college campus security guard who's hell-bent on killing all the members of a certain fraternity. The killer is said to be awesome, terrifying and darkly humorous.
I'll send more as I get it. Hopefully they'll film here, and I can get hired onto the crew.
Signing off,
Sex Machine, Jr.
