Merrick here...
Moviefone has the trailer to THE DICTATOR.
'Tis scripted by the inimitable Sacha Baron Cohen as well as Alec Berg, David Mandel, and Jeff Schaffer (whose collective credits include SEINFELD, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, SNL, and LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O'BRIEN). Cohen, of course, stars in a picture directed by Larry Charles (SEINFELD, MAD ABOUT YOU, ENTOURAGE, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, and THE TICK - and director of BORAT and BRUNO).
I'm a tremendous believer in Sacha Baron Cohen's brand of intelligent madness, loved Charles' work on BORAT and BRUNO (BORAT more than BRUNO, and have been looking forward to this one for some time. It opens Summer 2012.
