‘You Weren’t Supposed To See This!!’ Hercules Says Sunday Brings A Huge WALKING DEAD!!

AMC says of “Chupacabra”:

Glenn, the only one breaking barriers between both groups, knows far too much for his comfort level. Daryl finds a sign of life and, in his delirium, tries to make it back to the farm alive.

What is it about the old veterinarian’s farm that makes it so safe from zombie attacks – so safe he doesn’t need or want guns on the property? (Is his barbed wire extra pointy? Is it the depth of his wells?) What’s to stop Rick and his group from just taking over some abandoned farm up the road?

Spoilers lurk in invisotext.

* The episode begins with a flashback. You can tell thanks to Shane’s haircut, among other things. There’s a helicopter.

* We learn the zombies were somehow early on able to shut down the Emergency Broadcast Center. (So imagine how easy that would be if a member of Al Queda more intelligent than a muskrat tried!)

* The flashback doesn’t offer a lot of clues regarding how the zombies grew in number so quickly, but it does offer a cool nighttime shot of Atlanta.

* We learn more of Shane’s high school joyriding this week.

* There’s a lot of discussion this week regarding how long the search for little Sophia should continue.

* The scene with Glenn and Dale arrives in the latter half of the episode.

* A super-spoiler lurks below. Scroll at your own risk.

* Michael Rooker’s name is in the opening credits. So don’t be too shocked if the word “nigger” comes up at some point.

Next week brings another good one.
