Check out those ratings down there for “Survivor,” which hit season highs the last two weeks as the saga of Cochran, Ozzy, Coach and Little Hantz continued to heat up.
There were some who took issue with law student John Cochran’s decision to throw in with Coach Wade’s Upolu tribe (voting out Ozzy Lusth’s Savaii minion Keith Tollefson). I did not see it as a stupid move.
The stupid move in my view was contributed by from Denver pot dealer Jim Rice (I think of him as the funny Seth MacFarlane), who ended the last tribal council by hissing cobra-like cries of “Coward” at Cochran.
Cochran’s move was the least cowardly thing he could have done right there, and now the next time Coach or Sophie Clarke asks Cochran who should be exiled, I’m guessing Jim’s name will find its way into Cochran’s mouth.
“Nashville Star” finalist and Warner Bros. recording artist Whitney Duncan also doesn’t seem to be doing much to win back Cochran’s affection.
Comedy Central says of “South Park’s” penultimate episode, “A History Channel Thanksgiving”:
