Brian K. Vaughan, the graphic novel writer (“Y: The Last Man,” “Runaways”) hired to shore up the “Lost” writing staff a few years ago, is headed back to television to script Showtime’s “Under The Dome,” based on Stephen King’s engrossing 2009 novel.
The book's about a small town in Western Maine suddenly cut off from the rest of the world by a mysterious invisible force field.
Steven Spielberg (“Falling Skies,” “Terra Nova”) is among the project’s producers.
