Hey folks, Happy Halloween. Ambush Bug here from AICN HORROR. I’ll be whooping it up all day at work trying my best to uphold the Halloween tradition, but before I leave the house today, I wanted to share this new poster with you from a film called MADISON COUNTY! There ain’t no bridges here to see, just carnage!
Fans of AICN HORROR, the makers of MADISON COUNTY sent in this poster as an exclusive with the below message:
“After coming off of two successful showings at Screamfest due to a sell out performance at our world premiere, the MADISON COUNTY team wants to give a special thanks to the fans and share a treat in honor of this special holiday. We've been wanting to share this poster for a while and felt that this was a perfect time as the interest in our masked madman, DAMIEN has been quickly growing since the movie's premiere.
We teamed up with Tom "The Dude" Hodge on this poster & he was just incredible! He commented that this was one of the more challenging poster designs he's worked on so I'm sure he is just as excited as us to get it out there to the fans!
"I couldn't be more ecstatic about this poster! Not only was it done by Tom "The Dude" Hodge, the ridiculously talented artist behind such posters as HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN, The Innkeepers and Troma's FATHER’S DAY, but it's a great representation of our film. It captures the classic, old school aesthetic that I really wanted for Madison, but elevates it with incredible detail and design! I think people that enjoy the film are going to enjoy this poster just as much!" - Eric England
The fan support has been nothing short of amazing since even before we started shooting and that definitely has continued to grow. This was something we were all excited to see carry over into our initial screening at Screamfest on Monday. Because we were beyond capacity, with people siting in the aisles, Screamfest decided to provide us with an encore screening on the Thursday evening of the festival as well.
"Having Madison County make its World Premiere at Screamfest was beyond a dream come true, but being the only film to sell out the festival was probably one of the best nights of my life!" - Eric England
I hope people enjoy the new face of the film and thanks again for all of the support! We're also prepping for AFM this week with a great team to handle the international sales. We have attracted fans from across the world so we want to make sure the film begins to reach its ever growing global audience!”
